Refund policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

Our reviews are free, so this covers only the two optional paid services on our submit page. The short version: before we start work you get a full refund, and once the work is delivered we generally can't refund it. The details, including the one case people ask about most, are below.

What this covers

Two paid services exist on this site and nothing else is for sale: an expedited review at $49, one time, and a sponsored placement at $99 for one month. What each buys, and what neither buys, is set out in our terms and in our affiliate standards. This page covers only the money.

How payment works

Paid tiers are arranged manually: after you submit, we email you instructions and you pay by Payoneer or bank transfer. A refund means we send the money back the same way you paid it.

Expedited review — $49

  • Before we start: full refund, no questions asked.
  • If we decline your tool: full refund. We only keep payment for work we actually do.
  • Once the review is published:the service has been delivered, so it isn't refundable. An expedited review buys speed, not a particular verdict, so a critical review is not grounds for a refund.

Sponsored placement — $99

  • Before the slot goes live: full refund.
  • If we decline: full refund.
  • Once it's live:the month is reserved and running, so it isn't refundable for that period. If we ever take the slot down early for a reason on our side, we refund the unused days pro-rata.

Why a low score isn't a refund

This is the case worth explaining once, plainly, rather than arguing case by case.

An expedited review buys a place at the front of the queue and a permanent published review. It does not buy a score, a ranking position, or a recommendation, and we say so before you pay, on the submit page and in our terms. The rating is decided from the evidence, exactly as it would be for a free review. A verdict you don't like is the service working as described, not a service failure.

If the problem is a fact rather than the verdict, that's a correction, and it has its own route. Send the page, the claim as we published it, and a source we can open, and we'll fix a confirmed error on the timelines set out in our corrections policy. That applies to every review on this site, paid or free.

How to request a refund

Reply to your payment email, or write to info@aitoolspolice.com with the tool name and what you paid. We reply within a few business days and process eligible refunds within about 5–10 business days, depending on how quickly Payoneer or your bank settles it.

Questions or disputes

If something doesn't look right, please contact usfirst. We are a small operation and easy to reach, and we'd much rather sort it out directly.

This policy sits alongside our terms; we may update it, and the date at the top of this page will change when we do.
